Case against Satyamev Jayate

A case has been registered against Bollywood actor John Abraham’s upcoming film Satyamev Jayate for allegedly hurting the sentiments of the Shia community. On the complaint, based on a trailer, lodged by the BJP Minority Morcha’s city general secretary, Syed Ali Jaffry, the Dabeerpura police on Sunday registered a case against the makers of the film for outraging the religious feelings by insulting religion or religious belief under section 295 (A) of IPC and other sections of Cinematography Act, said Dabeerpura inspector D. Venkanna Naik. The movie is scheduled to be released on August 15.

Body found

The Government Railway Police on Sunday found the body of an unidentified person who was allegedly killed and dumped on the railway tracks at Bollaram Bazar railway station. Officials of GRP, Secunderabad said the culprits murdered the victim by smashing his head with boulder on the platform and later threw it on the track. “The body was run over by trains, cutting it in to two pieces,” GRP Inspector.
