Bride's jewellery worth Rs. 43 lakh stolen

Diamond-studded jewellery worth Rs. 43 lakh belonging to a bride was stolen soon after her wedding at Marvel function hall in Bowenpally on Sunday.

The red bag containing the jewellery was kept on one of the chairs right in front of the marriage pandal and was stolen around 4 p.m., within three hours of the marriage, the Begumpet ACP, I.T.V.S. Suryanarayana, said. Marriage of NRIs, Deepthi from Nellore and Dinesh of Karimnagar was performed at Marvel function hall in Sikh village of Bowenpally around 1.30 p.m.

The police are analysing the video footage recorded by the videographer and photographs taken by the cameraman to narrow down on suspects.
