Four trainees of BC Study Circle got technical qualifications

In pursuit of their ambition to join the uniformed forces, as many as 11 students of the State-run Telangana Backward Classes Study Circle in the town have secured the police constable jobs in various wings of the State police, the results of which were declared three days ago.

Four techies were among those who got selected for the stipendiary trainee police constable posts.

Of the total 50 candidates, who have undergone free coaching at the institute, a total of 11 candidates, including nine men and two women, have emerged triumphant in the recruitment test comprising physical test and written examination conducted by the Telangana Police Recruitment Board.

Diverse backgrounds

Hailing from backward classes, all the 11 candidates come from diverse educational backgrounds, some with higher qualifications. Four B.Tech graduates, two MBAs and one B.Pharm and MCAs, were among those selected for constable posts.

The BC Study Circle has helped more than 500 unemployed youth secure jobs in police, revenue, and other government departments besides in various banks since its inception in 2010, Director Telangana BC Study Circle, Khammam, G Srilatha said. The study circle offers coaching and study material free of cost to the candidates belonging to backward classes by engaging the services of the subject experts for various recruitment tests.

Government service

Youth possessing higher educational qualifications are opting jobs like police constable, Village Revenue Officer and Village Revenue Assistant owing to their inclination to offer services as public servants.

Plans are afoot to start coaching for the aspirants of the teacher jobs in the State-run Gurukul schools, she said.

“My penchant for uniformed services and the quality coaching at the BC Study Circle helped me secure police constable job,” said Hareesh, a B.Tech (Mechanical) graduate of Tirumalayapalem mandal.

“I have also written the main examination of the sub-inspector of police recruitment test, the results of which are awaited,” he said, adding that the uniformed services offer stable and challenging career growth opportunities.
