Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee President N. Uttam Kumar Reddy said they will hold a protest demonstration at RBI office at Hyderabad on Friday.
The Congress is opposing the demonetisation. Mr. Reddy demanded that the Centre withdraw restrictions on cash withdrawal and pay high rate of interest to account holders. The Centre must also deposit Rs. 25,000 to each account holder below poverty line, he said.
The TPCC President said that the party would continue to protest against demonetisation until people get relieved from its ill effects.
