The Medak district has been selected for second prize for its achievement in the category of solar power packs under off grid and decentralised solar power applications programme for the year 2015-16.
District Collector Bharati Hollikeri will be presented the award by Union Minister for Power, Coal and Mines Piyush Goel at New Delhi on Tuesday.
