The Malkajgiri Parliamentary Constituency has been sanctioned 10,000 Deepam gas connections.
Malkajgiri MP Ch. Malla Reddy in a statement here said that 25 % of gas connections will be distributed under Scheduled Caste Sub-Plan and 4.13% of connections will be distributed to Scheduled Tribes. Remaining connections will be distributed to the below poverty line families from other communities.
He said a meeting will be conducted with Collector of Medchal-Malkajgiri district to find out the actual stakeholders before distribution to the selected families.
