Clean chit to Shah Ghouse restaurant

Close to a month after allegations flew thick and fast on social media that the popular biryani joint, Shah Ghouse, was mixing dog meat, a report based on the samples collected cleared the air on the contents of the dishes.

The GHMC had collected samples of the meat from the restaurant on December 13 and sent it to the Director, National Research Centre on Meat (NRC on Meat), Chengicherla, for analysis. The centre has submitted a report to the civic body that the samples consisted of sheep meat. The GHMC has declared that no adulteration had taken place at the restaurant.
