Of the 237 Telangana State government employees booked by Anti-Corruption Bureau in different cases in 2014, 88 were gazetted officers.
The remaining 149 were non-gazetted officers while 16 private persons and employees of different corporations too were booked under different corruption cases, a statement from the ACB said on Friday. After bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, ACB of Telangana State started working separately from June 2, 2014.
A total of 253 persons, including gazetted and non-gazetted officers, were booked under cases of trap, disproportionate assets, surprise checks, regular enquiries, discreet enquiries and criminal misconduct in year 2014.
