Around 100 supporters of the ruling Aam Aadmi Party held a protest in New Delhi on Wednesday, questioning the Narendra Modi-led NDA government’s claim of acche din (good days).

Led by Dilip Pandey, leader of the party’s Delhi unit, the protesters at Jantar Mantar raised slogans against the central government a day after it completed one year in power.

Mr. Pandey asked: “I do not see any so-called acche din . What happened to the promises made by the Modi government for public welfare? Public wants an answer now.”

The protesters also held banners with slogans that read: “Anti-Middle Class, Anti-Trader, Anti-Farmer; Modi Sarkar”.
