The BJP’s North East Delhi Lok Sabha candidate, Manoj Tiwari, took out a roadshow in three wards at Jahangirpuri, Mukundpur and Bhalaswa here on Tuesday.

The roadshow started from ITI Jahangirpuri and passed through Mukundpur, Raja Vihar, Amrit Vihar, Sant Nagar and concluded at Jharoda.

Addressing the workers, Mr. Tiwari said the people of Delhi do not even have basic amenities but Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal “is engaged in his efforts to continue in power”.

“Mr. Kejriwal has compromised all principles to form an alliance [with the Congress], but the BJP already has an alliance with the people of Delhi,” Mr. Tiwari said.

“Our objective is to provide a house to every poor family by 2022 and provide all basic amenities to them and also Nal Se Jal (water from every tap) to every house and free medical treatment up to ₹5 lakh. For this purpose, we need a stable government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi and hence the BJP must win,” he said.
