Lawyers and police clashed at the Tis Hazari court complex on November 2, 2019 over a parking dispute. Police officers and lawyers sustained injuries in the incident and several vehicles were damaged.

Two days later, a video surfaced, in which a few lawyers can be seen thrashing a policeman at Saket Court.

Delhi Police officers, including the constabulary, are now protesting against the attack on their colleague. They gathered outside the Delhi Police headquarters, holding placards asking for justice. The families of protesting police personnel are also participating.
