Varsity to publish classics in Hindi

Initiate aimed at strengthening its cultural ties with other countries

Delhi University (DU) has announced a special drive for strengthening its cultural ties with other countries by publishing world classics in Hindi.

The initiative, the university said has been undertaken to familiarise its student to world literature and enable them to understand global thought.

‘Foreign admission’

The programme also intends to increase its foreign admission in the University.

Tarun Das, Registrar of DU, said, “We believe this outreach programme launched by the University of Delhi is one of its kinds. The University of Delhi has diverse demography and we intend to further enrich it. It is committed towards attracting young and dynamic students from all over the world and this effort would motivate more students from other nation selecting the University of Delhi as their favourite education stop.”
