A 27-year-old chartered accountant, who was preparing for civil services examination, was found dead at her residence in west Delhi’s Janakpuri, the police said on Tuesday.

They did not recover any note. A senior officer said the woman was living with her husband in a rented accommodation. The police said they got the information at 8 p.m. on Monday.

“Her husband said he reached home in the evening and found her dead. Post-mortem report is awaited,” the officer said.

The police said they are yet to ascertain the cause behind the extreme step. However, they added that the woman was allegedly “upset”.

Magisterial enquiry into the death has been initiated, the police added.
