Two persons have been arrested for allegedly killing a man in north-east Delhi to avenge the death of their friend, the police said on Sunday.

The accused — Danish (22) and Aman — both from Welcome, each carried a reward of ₹50,000 on their arrest, said Deputy Commissioner of Police (North-East) Atul Kumar Thakur.

They had shot Imran on Wednesday while he was travelling in his car, the police said.

During interrogation, the duo revealed that they committed the crime as they suspected the victim to be responsible for the death of their friend, Mehfuz. A motorcycle, a pistol and four live cartridges were seized from Danish, the police added.
