A Noida police sub-inspector has been arrested for allegedly opening fire at two men in Sector 122. The police have termed it a case of personal enmity and not an ‘encounter’ as was initially claimed by the accused. Three police personnel have also been suspended.

Gym trainer Jitendra Kumar Yadav and his three friends were returning from a wedding when the policemen stopped their car around 10 p.m.

One of Mr. Yadav’s friend said: “... as we sat in the car, the officer took out a gun and shot at us.

Gautam Buddha Nagar SSP Love Kumar said the police are investigating.
