Two held for attacking manager, his friends

Police suspect personal enmity

The Gurugram Police have arrested two persons for allegedly attacking and opening fire on the manager of a bar and his two friends. Two persons sustained bullet injuries in the attack and are undergoing treatment.

According to the police, Deepak, the manager of “S” Bar in Grand Mall on Mehrauli-Gurugram Road, was outside the club with his friends Parvinder and Praveen around 11.30 p.m. on Sunday when they were attacked.

Armed with lathis

More than a dozen young men armed with lathis reached the mall in cars and attacked them without provocation. The assailants opened fire injuring Parvinder and Praveen.

The arrested were identified as Mintu and Amit. The police suspect personal enmity behind the attack.
