Tense moments at IGI airport

Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport witnessed tense moments on Thursday evening after an aircraft with 133 passengers on board had to make an emergency landing following engine failure. The Varanasi-Delhi flight had to make an emergency landing at runway 29 after one engine of the Airbus A320 aircraft reportedly malfunctioned.

The pilot of the flight informed the ATC after detecting engine failure and requested a priority landing. The Delhi ATC declared full emergency at 7.50 pm. The flight landed safely at 8.10 pm.
