A teenage domestic help died after she fell from a multi-storey building in a housing society on Gurugram-Faridabad Road here on Monday. The police suspect it to be a case of suicide and ruled out any foul play.

The police said the 18-year-old girl was talking on her phone in the balcony attached to the flat’s kitchen on eighth floor when she fell. Her employer and his wife were away for work when the incident happened. However, the couple’s two children, aged six and one, and their grandparents were at home. When the security guard rushed to the spot on hearing a loud thud, he alerted the residents. She was taken to a hospital where she was declared dead. The police have informed the deceased’s parents in West Bengal. They are expected to reach Gurugram on Wednesday.
