Teachers’ body to protest against CBCS

: The Delhi University Teachers’ Association will protest at Jantar Mantar to oppose the implementation of Choice-Based Credit System (CBCS) in Delhi University.

Member Abha Dev Habib said: “DUTA members will resort to a dharna at Jantar Mantar during the Parliament session to demand the withdrawal of notification on implementation of CBCS by the Ministry of Human Resource Development and UGC.”

A.K. Bhagi, a member of DU’s committee on CBCS, said: “DU has a unanimous opinion as far as implementation of the CBCS is concerned. We are against it and will go to Jantar Mantar to express the same. We want the government to pay attention to our views and withdraw the idea.”
