Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Monday said that a plan has been prepared to set up solid waste management plants across the State to take forward the Swachh Haryana-Swasth Haryana Abhiyan.
He announced Rs.20 crore for setting up of a plant in Jhajjar as a first initiative in this direction.
Mr. Khattar was addressing the gathering at a State-level function to mark the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda at village Hasanpur in Jhajjar.
He urged the youth to pay attention towards schemes and programmes of rural development to realise the slogan of zero tolerance towards corruption. He further said that youth played a significant role in building and development of society. He said a corruption-free environment could be created only with the support of the 2.5 crore people of the State.
Urging the youth to stay away from drugs, the Chief Minister said that good moral values, health and education were necessary for keeping body, heart and brain pure.
