Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Tuesday accompanied Netherlands King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima on a visit to a government school in Nand Nagri to show them the changes that have been made in the institution.

Mr. Sisodia tweeted: “It was an honour to welcome the royal couple of Netherlands, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima to a #DelhiGovtSchool in Nandnagri today. “Students delighted to meet them, vibrantly introduced #HappinessCurriculum & #Entrepreneurship Mindset curriculum to the royal couple [sic].”

Mr. Sisodia also interacted with students of Class 10-12 at Government Co-Ed Senior Sec School in Mayur Vihar Phase 1 and Government Co. Ed. Secondary School in Vinod Nagar North regarding the Entrepreneurship Mindset Curriculum, which was introduced for students of Classes 9-12. He said the curriculum would help address the problem of unemployment.

“Around 2.5 lakh students pass out from Delhi yearly, if only 50,000 of them become entrepreneurs, we will never have the problem of joblessness. And for this, having an entrepreneurial mindset is very important. It determines our progress towards becoming a developed economy. Our young minds should be taught to pick up skills and not wait for someone to hire them,” Mr. Sisodia said.
