It was a joyous day for hundreds of school children participating in the first International Yoga Day celebrations at Rajpath as they were to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The excitement among them was so palpable that they mobbed Mr. Modi when he went to meet them after the event.
Class VI Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya student Urvashi’s dream to meet Mr. Modi got fulfilled at the event. “I was very excited to participate in this function. But when I got to know that Mr. Modi will also be there, I became happier. It was a dream to meet him,” she said. – PTI
