After a three-day break from ‘nukkad sabhas’, Union Minister Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti will be among those to address 90 meetings in the Capital on Monday, which will also see other controversial BJP leaders such as MP from Uttar Pradesh Swami Sakshi Maharaj and Union Minister Kalraj Mishra participate.

While Ms. Jyoti will address a meeting in Trilokpuri, which had recently witnessed riots, and in New Ashok Nagar , Mr. Mishra will head to Ballimaran.

A senior party leader said Ms. Jyoti’s episode was now over and the leader would go among the people and apprise them of the work done by the Narendra Modi government.

The party on Sunday announced it would hold around 350 street corner meetings across the Capital in the coming week and besides these Ministers, actor-turned MPs Kirron Kher and Paresh Rawal would address the meetings here.

Party sources also said that MPs holding ‘nukkad jansabhas’ had been advised to avoid giving controversial statements.

Besides Ms. Jyoti, Union Ministers Ravi Shankar Prasad and Maneka Gandhi, other top leaders who would hold ‘nukkad jansabhas’ include Najma Hepatullah, Satyanarain Jatia and Thawar Chand Gehlot.
