A 30-year-old man, wanted in the attempt to murder case of a Japanese company’s employee, was arrested on Friday, the police said on Saturday.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (South East) Chinmoy Biswal said Krishan Kumar was arrested from Kalkaji based on a tip-off.

Haryana Police had arrested Kumar’s friend Dayachand Master, his nephew Joginder Singh and few other associates for allegedly attempting to kill HR manager Dinesh Kumar Sharma (50).

Mr. Sharma had fired Joginder, an apprentice of the company, Mitsuba Sical India, three months ago.

During interrogation, the accused allegedly told the police he procured arms license in 2009 and worked as a bouncer in a Gurugram club.

“He also worked as a private security officer and was later running a transport business for delivery of good,” Mr. Biswal said.

Kumar was given a pistol by Dayachand and three cartridges, the police said.

He and his associate Surender fired two round at Mr. Sharma and managed to flee. “The accused had come to Kalkaji to meet an agent because he wanted to flee to Nepal,” the DCP said.
