Robbers use toy gun for crime, held

Two bike-borne men were arrested for allegedly robbing a person of his mobile phone in south Delhi, the police said on Friday.

Pankaj from Savitri Nagar and Mohammad Jeeshan from Malviya Nagar used a toy gun to commit the crime, they said. The incident happened when the accused, who were on a bike, stopped the victim, who was going towards Hauz Rani on Wednesday. They robbed him of his mobile phone and fled the spot. The victim then raised an alarm following which an officer chased the accused and nabbed Pankaj. On his instance, Jeeshan was held later. The robbed items have been recovered.
