A 17-year-old rape victim was allegedly force-fed a liquid, which she suspected was poisonous, by two men in Dwarka’s Uttam Nagar on Thursday, the police said on Saturday.

The girl has alleged that the accused asked her to change her statement in the rape case reported last year.

Death threat

“The complainant was allegedly intercepted near a park on Hastsal Road. They asked her not to give evidence in the court against the rape accused if she did not want to be killed. One of them held her hands and the other force-fed her the liquid,” said a senior police officer.

Based on her statement, a case under IPC Sections 195A (threatening any person to give false evidence), 328 (causing hurt by means of poison), 341 (punishment for wrongful restraint) and 34 (common intention) was registered, the police said.
