Rain, strong winds forecast today

Minimum temperature likely to settle at 14 degree Celsius today: Met department

It was a pleasant day in the Capital on Tuesday with both maximum and minimum temperatures settling below the normal for the season at 27.4 and 12.8 degrees Celsius respectively.

The maximum was two degrees below normal while the minimum was three degrees below normal.

The Met department said that strong winds blew across the city during the day and are likely to continue on March 13 as well.

It has forecasted partly cloudy sky with possibility of rain and thundershowers on evening/night of March 13. The daytime temperature is likely to fall to 25 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature will be 14 degree Celsius. The MeT department in its bulletin said “Under the influence of fresh western disturbance, scattered to fairly widespread rain/snow would occur over western Himalayan region and isolated over Haryana and Delhi on March 13 and March 14.”
