August 27, 2015 12:00 am | Updated March 29, 2016 05:39 pm IST - New Delhi:

In a bid to enable more drivers to switch to new CNG vehicles, web app-based cab aggregation service Ola announced the launch of its ‘Ola Green Pragati Week’ on Wednesday.

To be organised from August 26 to September 1, the initiative aims at bringing together thousands of driver-partners as well as financing and car manufacturer partners under one roof.

Under this initiative, Ola will make available an opportunity for drivers in the city to purchase a new CNG car with benefits of up to Rs. 100,000 including a discount of up to Rs. 60,000 in partnership with dealers or manufacturers such as Maruti, Hyundai, and Tata.

Ola would also enable flexible financing options. Deep Singh, business head–north at Ola, said, “We are committed to CNG adoption in Delhi. The intention behind this scheme is to create an opportunity for all those drivers who are planning to buy new cars or willing to exchange their old cars for a CNG vehicle, and contribute to a clean and green Delhi.”
