Man found dead outside Andhra Bhavan

A 40-year-old differently-abled man was found dead outside Andhra Bhavan, the police said on Monday.

They have recovered a two-page note left behind by the deceased.

The man had come to the Capital to participate in the day-long hunger strike by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, said an officer.

A PCR call was received at 7 a.m. regarding the incident. He was taken to a hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.

“The man was found dead outside Andhra Bhavan. He had mentioned a financial crisis in the note,” said Madhur Verma, DCP (New Delhi).

The incident took place on the intervening night of Sunday and Monday, the police said.

Proceedings have been initiated and further inquiry is in progress, the DCP said.

The body will be sent soon for post-mortem.
