The Rohtak police has registered a case against an unidentified person for allegedly flashing women students of Maharshi Dayanand University and using foul language.

Rohtak Superintendent of Police Jashandeep Singh Randhawa directed the PGI police post staff to register a case on Wednesday after the matter came to his notice.

Cash reward

The police have released a closed-circuit television grab of the accused for identification and announced a cash reward of ₹10,000 for information leading to his arrest.

The police are scrutinising CCTV camera footage from university campus and also questioning students to identify the culprit.

The police said the alleged incident took place a week ago when the man accosted women students and allegedly flashed them at least on two occasions.

The police were informed. They reached the spot but the culprit was not caught.

However, no case was registered since the students refused to lodge a formal complaint.
