: Martyrs of the 100-year-old Hardinge bomb case, in which the then Viceroy of India Lord Charles Hardinge was attacked and injured on the occasion of transferring the Capital of British India from Calcutta to Delhi, were remembered at a function here on Friday.

Rich tributes and floral homage were paid to Master Amir Chand, Bhai Bal Mukund, Master Avadh Bihari and Basant Kumar Biswas, martyrs of the historic case, at the Shaheed Smarak Sthal built on the Maulana Azad Medical College premises here.

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal led Delhiites in paying homage to the martyrs at the function, marking the completion of 100 years since three of the revolutionaries were executed on May 8, 1915 in Delhi. A modest memorial, Shaheed Smarak Sthal, has been raised at the site in Old Delhi, where the martyrs were hanged, now in the complex of Maulana Azad Medical College.
