JNU to organise Open Day this month

Jawaharlal Nehru University has announced that it will be organising its annual Open Day on October 27. The event is an effort by the university to engage with schoolchildren. This is the second time the university is organising an open day. The previous event was organised on November 21 last year.

The university said those students who register with the university would be shown the achievements of of JNU in its “illustrious journey to excellence” and would be taken on a tour of the various schools and centres, and introduced to the research being conducted by them. “We aim to showcase JNU history and current activities through a number of media such as movies, lectures, poster sessions and guided visits,” said the university.

Applications to register for the visit are open to all senior secondary school students provided that the school is located within 10 km of the JNU campus.
