Two students from Gurgaon have bagged the top positions in ISC exams this year from Delhi-NCR.

Adya Joshi and Prithvir Bhalla shared the top position with a score of 99 per cent.

“The students, both from The Shri Ram School in Gurgaon, have topped the ISC Class XII Examination, 2015, conducted by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) in Delhi-NCR,” said Council CEO Gerry Arathoon.

An elated Adya said the news hasn’t sunk in yet. She said she had the support of her parents and friends, but most importantly, her teachers.

“The teachers motivated us and were there at every point,” she told journalists.

Her parents, Adya added, never pressured her to score a certain percentage and that it was she who kept pushing herself.

Adya, who is all set to appear for Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) on Sunday, said the testing times are not yet over. “I cannot even celebrate as I have the entrance test day after. But I will have a celebratory dinner with my parents.”

Her mother Sanjana Joshi said: “The journey has been stressful, but the point is not to let the examination stress show and to keep the child going, motivated and always together.”

The second and third positions have been bagged by Laksh Arora from St Mary’s Academy, Meerut, and Arunima Shukla from Holy Child School, Ghaziabad, with a score of 98.75 and 98.25 respectively.
