All schools and colleges in Ghaziabad will remain closed on Wednesday in view of the farmers’ agitation here, officials said on Tuesday. The order was issued by District Magistrate Ritu Maheshwari.
“All schools and colleges in Ghaziabad shall remain closed on Wednesday as preventive measure in view of the ongoing farmers’ agitation,” Ms. Maheshwari tweeted.
Thousands of farmers held fort at the Delhi-UP border here on Tuesday after the police stopped their protest march to the Capital.
