The Faculty Association of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (FAAIIMS) on Wednesday staged a protest against the hospital administration, which had terminated the services of Dr. Kuldeep Kumar from the Department of Medicine.
“Dr. Kumar has an outstanding work record and charges against him have been fabricated. Documentary evidence suggests that the current administration of AIIMS removed even duly appointed faculty members or punished or terminated faculty members leading to huge damage to the moral and self esteem of few of the finest medical professionals of the country who are selected by the standing selection committee of the institutes (selection committee constituted by eminent members from across the country),’’ noted FAAIIMS general secretary Dr. Nand Kumar
Meanwhile, AIIMS administration maintained that the issue has been already discussed in the General Body meeting of the FAAIIMS held last month.
