DCW writes to police, seeks details of FIR

The Delhi Commission for Women on Tuesday taking suo-moto cognizance of the media reports regarding the murder of a 51-year old man in Moti Nagar, has written to the Commissioner of Police.

The Commission has asked the police to share details of FIR registered in the matter along with a copy of the FIR by May 17.

Eve-teasing allegation

The DCW has asked for details regarding whether any complaint of harassment, eve-teasing, molestation etc. had been received against the men in the past and if any action was taken them if any complaint had been received.

The DCW also called for the arrest of the group of boys who allegedly molested the girl under appropriate sections of law.
