Criminal with ₹50,000 bounty on head held

A team of Gurugram Special Task Force has arrested a notorious criminal, who was carrying a reward of ₹50,000 on his head, from near Kamla Nehru Park here, the police said on Wednesday.

A Haryana police spokesman said that the arrested accused has been identified as Ravinder alias Rabbo, a resident of Hodal’s Rohta Patti, Palwal. A pistol and two live cartridges were recovered from his possession.

He was involved in several cases of crime, including attempt to murder, theft, obstructing public servant in discharge of duty, rioting and criminal intimidation. He was also declared a proclaimed offender in a case registered at Sadar police station, Palwal.
