‘Assembly elections will be a direct contest with BJP’

Congress says it will rank first

The Delhi Congress said one thing that was clear from the Lok Sabha election result was that Aam Aadmi Party has lost the trust of Delhiites.

It also said in some Assembly segments, data shows that Congress is in the first place.

A spokesperson of the party said, “The Assembly election will be a direct contest with the BJP. AAP played the role of a vote cutter in a triangular contest to benefit the BJP. ”

Delhi Congress chief Sheila Dikshit told Congress workers not lo lose hope and continue to work hard with an eye on the Assembly polls.

‘Lies of AAP’

“Improve the vote share of Congress and beat the BJP,” she said, adding that the people of Delhi have seen through the lies of AAP.
