Bhai Parmanand Institute of Business Studies in East Delhi will be organising its two-day “techno-cultural” festival, “Amogh–14”, from Thursday.
The intention behind the festival, in which The Hindu is a sponsor, is to “reinforce management, technology and extra-curricular activities”, while also apprising students of cultural and academic diversity.
The institute also wants this fest to be an opportunity for students to showcase their hidden creative talents. To this end, events like “Code Juggler, LAN gaming, website designing, best manager, business quiz, debate, rangoli, poster making, sketch making, poetry, ad-mads, street-plays, dancing, singing and Back-benchers” will be conducted by field experts.
This fest will be open to all students from the Institute of Management and Technology across the city.
The institute is under the Delhi Government’s Department of Training and Technical Education (DTTE). The fest will be inaugurated by DTTE Secretary R. K. Verma who will also be the chief guest. The guest of honour is DTTE director V. P. Rao.
