Senior AAP leader Sanjay Singh tweeted a video of an accident victim lying on a road, claiming that his death reflected the “insensitivity” of the Delhi Police and passers-by but the charge was refuted by the police which said the man was taken to a hospital in time.

The Rajya Sabha MP shared the video on Friday, showing the severely injured man, with some people and police personnel standing nearby.

“Akash...died in extreme pain, while the police and passers-by did nothing. This sad and painful incident reflects the insensitivity of the Delhi Police and passers-by,” Mr. Singh tweeted in Hindi, along with the video. The police said the incident occurred on July 11 and the man was taken to the hospital by the police in time.
