The Aam Aadmi Party is getting ready to declare its candidates for six of the seven Lok Sabha seats of Delhi in the first week of February, party sources said on Wednesday.

The party had appointed in-charges for each Lok Sabha seat last year.

The in-charge for one of the constituency, West Delhi, had quit the post soon after being appointed.

The in-charges for the six remaining seats — Atishi Marlena for East Delhi; Dilip Pandey for North-East Delhi; Raghav Chadha for South Delhi; Gugan Singh Ranga for North-West Delhi; Pankaj Gupta for Chandni Chowk and Brijesh Goyal for New Delhi — are the frontrunners for the nomination for their respective seats, sources said.

For West Delhi, the party is deliberating on the potential candidate and will come to a decision by February 15, a source said.

AAP leader and Delhi convener Gopal Rai had announced on January 2 that the party will declare its candidates for Delhi, Punjab and Haryana by February 15.
