S.V. Adithya Kiran and C. Pranav from PSBB Millennium School, Coimbatore, won the ‘Aqua Regia- The Science Quiz 2015’ conducted by T.I.M.E. training institute in Hyderabad on December 1. The championship was conducted for students of Standards VIII to X.

According to a press release, the competition was conducted in 23 cities in the country in the last three months. A total of 1.30 lakh teams participated in the championship.

Letter writing contest

The Department of Posts will conduct the 45th Universal Postal Union Letter Writing Competition on ‘Write a letter to your 45-year-old self’ at Presentation Convent Higher Secondary School here on January 3, says a release.

Students up to 15 years of age are eligible for participation. Application with two passport-sized photographs should be submitted to Senior Superintendent of Post offices, Coimbatore Division, Coimbatore-641001 before December 21, 2015. The age of the participant should be certified by school authorities.

The top three entries will receive medals and certificates. The best entry at the national level will qualify for participation at the international level competition. Application forms will be available in all post offices. For details contact phone: 0422-2558512, 2305200, 2305300.
