In order to facilitate the proposed underground drainage works, traffic will be diverted from T.K. Street junction to Three Post junction on Sukrawarpet road with effect from June 7.

Buses and other heavy vehicles bound to Gandhi Park via Sukrawarpet from Marakkadai and R.G. Street will be diverted.

Vehicles plying on the above route will have to pass through Flower Market and take a left turn from Ramachandra Road to reach D.B. Road and further proceed to other places via Three Post junction.

Light motor vehicles plying to Gandhi Park via Sukrawarpet from Marakkadai and R.G. Street will have to take a left turn at T.K. Street junction and take Thomas Street and Sullivan Street to reach their destinations. To ease traffic on the temporary route, residents and shopkeepers on T.K. Street, Thomas Street, Telugu Street and Sullivan Street have been requested to park their vehicles at other places.
