Free bus passes given to 120 students
The Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation, Coimbatore Division, conducted a bus pass camp at the Corporation Higher Secondary School in North Coimbatore on Tuesday.
According to an official release, Managing Director of Coimbatore Division E. Devarajan gave away free bus passes to 120 students. S. Manimuthu, General Manager of the Division, took part in the function.
As many as 1.60 lakh bus passes would be issued in Coimbatore Division this year, which was the about the same as last year’s levels. Further, 80,000 passes would be issued in Tirupur, 40,000 in Udhagamandalam and 1.20 lakh in Erode Divisions.
