Three from Coimbatore coaching centre clear UPSC examinations

Three candidates who attended a free civil services coaching centre in the city have cleared the Union Public Service Commission examinations.

According to P.Kanagaraj, Head of the Department of Political Science, Government Arts College, Coimbatore, who runs the free coaching centre, the candidates, S. Rishi Raghav (281st rank) of Coimbatore, T.Chitra (296th rank) from Villuppuram, Aswin Chandru (327th rank) from Valantharavai in Ramanathapuram cleared the examinations.

Rishi Raghav had studied in Georgia Tech in the United States.

Ashwin Chandru, son of Angusamy, a retired Assistant Commissioner of Police, had cleared the Indian Forests Service Exam two months ago.

P.Kanagaraj said that in the last twelve years 88 candidates from his free coaching centre had cleared the civil services examinations and were now posted as Collectors, Superintendents of Police, Indian Foreign Service and Indian Revenue Service officers.
