To cater to the extra rush of passengers during the summer holidays, weekly special trains will be operated between Erode and Dhanbad in Jharkhand.
A release from Salem Railway Division said Train No. 06063 Erode – Dhanbad Weekly Summer Special Train will leave Erode at 1.30 p.m. on Fridays from April 26 to June 28 (10 services) to reach Dhanbad at 8.30 a.m. on Sundays.
Likewise, Train No. 06064 Dhanbad – Erode Weekly Summer Special Train will leave Dhanbad at 6 a.m. on Mondays from April 29 to July 1 (10 services) to reach Erode at 2 a.m. on Wednesdays. The train will have stoppages at Salem, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, Perambur, Gudur, Nellore, Ongole, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry, Duvvada, Vizianagaram, Bobbili, Parvatipuram, Rayagada, Muniguda, Titlagarh, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Rourkela, Nawagaon, Hatia, Ranchi, Muri and Bokaro Steel City, the release added.
