Southern Railway announces four special trains to clear rush

Southern Railway has announced four special trains, including a special fare train, from Coimbatore to Jabalpur, to clear additional rush.

According to a press release issued recently, Train No. 02197 Coimbatore – Jabalpur special fare special train will leave Coimbatore Junction on July 8 and 15 (Mondays) at 7 p.m. and reach Jabalpur on Wednesday at 12.45 p.m. The special train will stop at Palakkad and Shoranur.

Train No. 07118 Ernakulam – Hyderabad special fare special train, which will stop at Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode and Salem, will leave Ernakulam Junction on every Thursday of July and August and will reach Hyderabad the next day.

Train No. 07116 Kochuveli – Hyderabad special fare special train will also stop at Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode and Salem, according to the release. The train will leave Kochuveli at 7.45 a.m. on all Mondays in July (except July 1), all Mondays in August and September 2 and will reach Hyderabad the next day at 2 p.m.

A special fare special train between Tirunelveli and Jabalpur will also be introduced, the release said.

Train No. 02193 will leave Tirunelveli on July 6 and 13 (Saturdays) at 4 p.m. and will reach Jabalpur on Mondays at 11.15 a.m. This train will stop at Kovilpatti, Satur, Virudhunagar, Madurai, Dindigul, Tiruchchirappalli, Karur, Namakkal, Rasipuram, Salem, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, Tiruttani, Reniguta, Gudur, Nellore, Ongole, Vijayawada, Khammam, Warangal, Ramagundam, Sirpurkagaznagar, Balarshah, Chandrapur, Sevagram, Nagpur, Itarsi, Pipariya, Gadarwara and Narsinghpur, the release said.
