School inspected over fee issue

June 21, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:33 am IST - COIMBATORE:

Inspector of Anglo Indian Schools Joseph Selvaraj on Wednesday met the Stanes Anglo Indian Higher Secondary Schools officials and the parents association. This follows a directive last December from Private Schools Fee Determination Committee head Justice S.R Singaravelu, which had instructed the Stanes School not to collect fees in excess of the levels prescribed by the committee. This ruling followed complaints by a section of the parents that the school was collecting excess fees.

The Committee had also directed the Inspector of Anglo Indian Schools to determine the fee levels.
