Flagged off

District Collector Archana Patnaik flagged off the run.

At a press meet held here on Sunday, the Coimbatore centre head of Bosch T.V. Sriram handed over the proceeds from the run to the secretary of Residents Awareness Association of Coimbatore (RAAC) R. Raveendran.

The proceeds from the last two editions of the run went towards developing parks and green space in the city.

According to Mr. Sriram, afforestation projects have been taken up at Podanur, AG Pudur and GV Residency.

Playground

Apart from the park at Gandhimanagar, a playground has been developed for the blind school. “We are sure to continue giving back quality and increased support to the city,” he said.
