Poor response in Coimbatore

October 29, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:34 am IST - COIMBATORE:

Senior officials and engineers in the Coimbatore Corporation led by Commissioner K. Vijayakarthikeyan met on Wednesday to devise a strategy to improve public participation in the Smart City project. Sources said that the Corporation was worried about public participation remaining under 500 in the survey/poll it had introduced on its webpage. It was also concerned about the response in the webpage managed by the Ministry of Urban Development.

The officials discussed ways and means to improve public participation before the deadline on October 31.

A release from the civic body appealed to the public to participate in the poll by visitingwww.ccmc.gov.in/ smartcitysurveypoll/orhttps://mygov.in/group-issue/ smart-city-coimbatore/
